I won this from Goodreads giveaway. The chef, Piero Manno, is a surprisingly good writer. His autobiography which traces his boyhood from Calabria, Italy to his success as a Fresno, California restauranteur is hard to put down. What an interesting life! I have copied many of the recipes he includes in the book and have my shopping list ready. I can sincerely recommend this to anyone who enjoys an entertaining story of a life.

Hey, Piero's recipes are outstanding. Some great Italian food. My wife and I have cooked up some of his recipes and love them.
